Amenities for delegates
- Ticket discount for transportation to/from a congress - up to 20% discount on applicable tariff for business and economy class, for international flights on all Star Alliance Group member airlines that participate in the offer (as a rule 20% discount on C class, 10% discount on other classes in business class, 15% discount on Y and B class and 10% discount at most of other classes in economy class; with certain exceptions depending on the rules and conditions of each Star Alliance Group airline). This discount is applicable to an accompanying person as well.
- For every event organized via Conventions Plus here is a special code that is recognized by all the member airlines that participate as carriers in the offer and by all the agents. Therefore the participants can book and buy their discounted tickets through any of these channels, but they need to specify the congress or the eventcode. It is also possible to book and purchase these tickets online at www.staralliance.com/conventionsplus/delegates/.
- Participants who fly with one of Star Alliance member airlines with a business class ticket can use departure lounges at the airports, and the gold members Star Alliance participants, no matter which class they fly in, can bring a guest into a departure lounge.
- Discounted Conventions Plus ticket enables you to collect miles in any frequent flyer Star Alliance Groupe programme.
- Star Alliance Conventions Plus supports its participants through the official web site www.staralliance.com/conventionsplus where the participants can find thorough information regarding the discounted ticket reservation and purchase.
Instructions for delegates
In order to obtain the discount please:
- receive Event code from organizer or check the Event website (the Event code should be published in the support wording) as you have to quote the Event code at time of reservation
- prepare the confirmation of your registration or proof of attendance for the Event
- for online bookings: visit www.staralliance.com/conventionsplus/delegates/ and under "Delegates login" enter the Event code. The online booking tool opens in a separate window. Should the online booking tool not open, please ensure that your Pop-Up blocker is disabled.
- for offline bookings: contact the nearest Croatia Airlines office or Contact Center, agent or booking office of any Star Alliance member airline and quote the Event code while booking your ticket
