General info and Approvals
Croatia Airlines Technical Services is a MRO facility within airline, the flag carrier of the Republic of Croatia. Various departments are bringing multitude of services offered to “mother” company and our dear and valued customers. Line Maintenance, Base Maintenance, Technical Training Center, Engineering and Logistics are our basics for successful business.
As a result of working on various narrow-body aircraft for more than 20 years, Croatia Airlines Technical Services has gained significant experience. Safety, quality and strict adherence to regulations and international standards have assured that Croatia Airlines Technical Services has become a regional leader in aircraft maintenance.
In 2001, Croatia Airlines acquired the JAR part 145 certificate and has since then provided aircraft maintenance services for various European operators. With the establishment of a unified civil aviation authority of European Union (EASA - European Aviation Safety Agency), Part 145 has been established as a common standard for all European approved maintenance organizations. In October 2004 we have been audited by the experts from the German Civil Aviation Authority LBA (Luftfahrt-Bundesamt) on behalf of EASA in order to replace until then valid JAR 145 certificate with newly issued Part 145 certificate. Although the certificate itself does not expire, every year an audit was scheduled and performed by LBA experts in order to confirm strict adherence to Part 145 requirements until accession of Croatia to the EU in July 2013 thus becoming an EASA member state.
Currently Croatia Airlines Technical Services holds a Croatian Civil Aviation Agency Part 145 approval certificate (reference HR.145.001) which allows us to offer third party aircraft line & base maintenance services to all EU registered aircraft.
In addition to the CCAA Part 145 certificate, Croatia Airlines also holds Qatari CAA approval certificate (reference QCAR/FAMO/133) and States of Guernsey approval certificate (reference 2-REG.145.54).
Croatia Airlines Technical Services is also approved as continuing airworthiness management organization holding CCAA Part –M Subpart G approval certificate (reference HR.MG.001).
Our Technical Training Center holds the Part 147 certificate (reference HR.147.001) issued by the Croatian Aviation Authority. Our technical training center offers various types of training to all our technicians and engineers and offers training services to third parties.
