20th anniversary
On 7th August Croatia Airlines celebrates 20th anniversary of its founding.
Namely, on 7 August 1989, the first Croatian air carrier, called Zagal - actually Zagreb Airlines - was registered.
The Zagal company began operating with an aircraft of the Cessna 402 C type, and was engaged in the transport of UPS consignements. Next year, on 23 July, Zagal changed its name to Croatia Airlines.
We would like to use this occasion to thank all our passengers for contributing to our development into a modern European airline.

Reduced Ticket Service Charge (TSC) for international flights if you buy online!
If you buy your flight ticket for any Croatia Airlines international flight via our website, you will pay 15 € TSC ( for flights from London GBP 10).
The charges for ticket issue if you buy via phone or in our sales offices:

- Belgium - 30 € for all destinations

as of 5th March we are offering you additional options:
MasterCard® SecureCode™ and Verified by Visa.
MasterCard® SecureCode™ is a new service from MasterCard and your card issuer that provides added protection when you buy online. You choose your own personal code which gives you added protection against unauthorized use of your credit or debit card when you shop online. Every time you pay online with your MasterCard or Maestro card, a box pops up from your card issuer asking you for your personal SecureCode. Verified by Visa is also a service that lets you shop online with added confidence. Through a simple checkout process, Verified by Visa confirms your identity when you make purchases at participating online stores. It's convenient and it works with your existing Visa card.
