Croatia Airlines hosted all participants of the VIP MegaDo trip
Zagreb, 16 October 2019
As part of the traditional VIP MegaDo trip, which is organized by Star Allinace, a group of almost 100 aviation and travel enthusiasts from around the world arrived in Croatia yesterday.
MegaDo is a program trip for travel lovers, mostly frequent flyers who yearly fly 300,000 miles on average; these events enable them to get to know the participants of civil aviation (airlines, airports, etc.) more closely, learn many interesting operative facts, and experience things that commercial flight passengers cannot see.
Croatia Airlines, as the host of the central part of the tenth MegaDo trip, yesterday hosted all participants on special charter flights from Hamburg to Dubrovnik and Dubrovnik to Zagreb in its largest aircraft, Airbus 320.
Today, the participants of this year’s trip met with the heads of the Croatian national airline company, after which they had a tour of the technical headquarters of the company in Zagreb, and learned about operative processes in hangars, where all technical maintenance of Croatian and foreign aircraft is handled. Before their visit, Franjo Tuđman Airport organized a tour of the new passenger terminal.
