Croatia Airlines to implement AMOS Airline/MRO Edition
26th June 2023, Zagreb – Croatia Airlines and Swiss Aviation Software have today signed a strategic partnership agreement, under which the AMOS Airline/MRO Edition, a comprehensive software solution designed to optimise and streamline the maintenance and engineering operations of airlines, will be implemented in the operations of Croatia’s flag carrier.
After conducting a comprehensive evaluation of various industry-leading solutions, it was decided that the adoption of the AMOS Airline/MRO Edition aligns with Croatia Airlines’ commitment to ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and reliability in its operations. By leveraging the advanced features and functionalities of the AMOS software, Croatia Airlines is looking to enhance its maintenance processes, and overall operational efficiency.
AMOS is globally recognised as a robust industry-leading solution in the aviation maintenance domain. Its state-of-the-art capabilities will empower Croatia Airlines to effectively manage its fleet’s maintenance, engineering, and logistics processes, ultimately reducing downtime and increasing aircraft availability.
The AMOS software package will provide Croatia Airlines with comprehensive functionality, and support their strategic fleet transformation into an all-new A220 fleet by 2026 by offering advanced options for aircraft phase-in and phase-out.
Similarly, the system’s user-friendly interface and intuitive workflows will enhance the productivity of and collaboration amongst Croatia Airlines’ maintenance and engineering teams.
Given that Croatia Airlines already uses AVIATAR, Lufthansa Technik’s independent and open digital platform for the aviation industry, Croatia’s flag carrier will soon profit from a seamless integration of the two systems within the framework of the new Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem.
– We are delighted to announce that Croatia Airlines will be introducing AMOS, a new and more comprehensive maintenance, repair and overhaul software system, in our operations – said Jasmin Bajić, CEO and President of the Management Board of Croatia Airlines, adding the following – After considering a number of options, a strategic decision was made to use AMOS as our main platform to support our Part- CAMO, Part-145, Logistics and Finance, and any third party requirements. AMOS was selected as our future platform thanks to its compatibility and widespread use in the industry, strong customer focus, easy transition and integration, regulatory framework (EASA), cost reduction, and productivity efficiency increase. Choosing the right platform for our company was crucial, as we need a product which far exceeds the required scope of functionality, and which would provide Croatia Airlines with a long-term strategic advantage. We are looking forward to implementing AMOS as our new software system in the very near future.
– We are delighted to welcome Croatia Airlines to our ever-expanding circle of customers – said Fabiano Faccoli, CEO of Swiss-AS, adding the following – AMOS will equip Croatia Airlines with a potent toolset to maximise their operational efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. We look forward to supporting them in achieving their maintenance and engineering goals.
The implementation of AMOS at Croatia Airlines is expected to commence in the coming weeks. To ensure a smooth transition to the new system, the project will involve close collaboration between the expert teams of Croatia Airlines and Swiss-AS.
