Croatia Records and Croatia Airlines sign collaboration agreement

14th November 2022, Zagreb

The executives of two big national companies, Želimir Babogredac, the CEO at Croatia Records, and Jasmin Bajić, the CEO and President of the Management Board of Croatia Airlines, signed a collaboration agreement today at the premises of Croatia Records. Both headquartered in Zagreb, and both enjoying a regional and international reputation, the two companies will, thanks to this agreement, be able to provide numerous benefits to the satisfaction of all their users. These benefits will include discounts on purchases of airline tickets, music albums, vinyl records, music books, and other music-related content. Their joint promotions will be publicised on their social media platforms.

Celebrating its seventy-fifth anniversary this year, and being a leader in all segments of its business operations, Croatia Records is a leading record label in the region which has been maintaining its long-standing tradition with its wide repertoire of music genres and number of musicians, and which is continuing to create a rich archive of valuable recordings.

In the thirty-three years of its existence, Croatia’s flag carrier, Croatia Airlines, has developed a respectable and complete service in both domestic and international air transport, whose business operations have been contributing to the development of Croatia’s tourism product and economy.

Satisfied with the collaboration agreement signed today and the common goal of the two national companies, the signatories of the agreement stated the following:

– Although we’re national brands, our two big companies do business all over the world. Accordingly, this collaboration of ours will give new momentum both to our businesses as such, and to the way in which the media perceives our individual companies. Technology works wonders, particularly in music. This means that flying through the air today are not just aeroplanes carrying passengers, but also hundreds of thousands of songs produced by the Jugoton and Croatia Records labels – said Želimir Babogredac, CEO at Croatia Records.

– I am very pleased that we’ve found a common business interest with the biggest record company and label in Croatia, and that today marks the beginning of collaboration between two major Croatian brands, Croatia Records and Croatia Airlines. Thanks to this agreement, with which we’ve defined ways in which our promotional activities can be harmonised, we will now be able to offer extra benefits to those who use the services of our two companies. We’ll offer musicians and other Croatia Records service users a discount on our airline tickets, while our passengers will be given a discount on Croatia Records services. I believe that our collaboration will develop to the satisfaction of both companies, and I look forward to meeting you on our flights! – said Jasmin Bajić, CEO and President of the Management Board of Croatia Airlines
