From the plane to the train! When booking your flight, you can now also choose train transportation to certain destinations in Germany.
You can get to your flight by train from the following destinations: Berlin, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Hannover, Cologne, Leipzig, Munich, Nuremberg or Stuttgart when travelling to Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina or North Macedonia via Frankfurt.

After issuance of the flight ticket, it is mandatory to check-in for the rail segments to obtain the valid train ticket. Please, open the link rail-checkin.com, enter your name and either flight ticket number or flight booking code and follow the check-in process.
While checking-in you will already select a train connection matching your flight.
However, the train ticket is valid for any train on the selected routing and travel date.
If several passengers booked in the same booking (can be identified by the same booking code) use the same rail connection, these passengers (max. 5 people) can check in together and then receive a joint ticket. Alternatively, a separate check-in can also take place.
Check-in for rail segments is available within 180 days before date of travel.
It is recommended to check-in as early as possible.
